a thin winter sun that creates the most beautiful softly diffused light when there's ice fog
a non-cold-fearing friend took this photo during a recent spell of -45 and colder weather, the ice fog shrouding the land, temperatures too cold for the sun to have much success at burning it off

its the next best thing to being able to take them myself!
now that my feet are firmly planted in the land that made me I will be spending as much time out and about as I can

Those are gorgeous photos, but I'm definitely on the "fearing cold" side of the fence. I'm glad someone else took them!
You are going to think I'm the most awful blogging friend! I knew I probably was a couple of posts behind but when I went back through I discovered that it's not a couple of POSTS, it's a couple of MONTHS!!! I don't seem to be getting your posts in my feed so I'll have to see what I can do to figure that one out. So, my friend, I will jump in here with a comment and will spare you the inundation with catch-up comments on all that I've missed. Trust me though, I have read them all.
